Enter Esc is an original new live electronic duo formed in Newcastle Australia in 2006, now residing in Melbourne since Jan 2007.

It is a versatile, evolving electronic organism.

Over the past year the act has performed live sets at outdoor dance partys, various festivals such as Peats Ridge NYE2007, pubs and cafes including Resolutions by the River, Stomp Fest, Hardware Hack and Spontaneous combustion.

Enter Esc music can be best described as a combination of popular and diverse dance music styles such as HipHop, drum n bass, disco, trance, house,  and more left-field styles such as jungle, dub, ambient and retro psychedelic.

A usual Enter Esc song may contain at least  FIVE styles of electronica in one song, weaving them together seamlessly while still retaining their trademark style of never sampling existing media, only very talented artists are sampled. This is what makes Enter Esc very different indeed.

Keyboardist and synth programmer Dieter Hartwig adds to this diverse sound drawing on his experience performing in UK band Praise Space Electric/Moon Flowers, which performed regularly at Glastonbury and toured extensively throughout Europe and Japan.

Arranger/composer and sound manipulator Stephan Wieland builds the sonic landscapes from a wide experience in rock bands such as The Drift and Velvet Glove Annie performing close to 100 live shows in the past 2 years.
